25 years later, Larry, Nicky & Victoria arrived in Summerside after having sailed with Meriah around North America and up to PEI on their voyage from British Columbia. The reporter who wrote the story of Mirana's trip to the Bahamas is now the Newspaper's Editor!

When passing through Beaufort, North Carolina in 2003, Larry discovered the historical note about Clawsons underlined in red below while enjoying dinner at this fine restaurant.

25 years ago on the way back to PEI from the Bahamas, Mirana was tied up at the Beaufort Town Docks. Larry woke up in the middle of the night to discover that this 5 &10 storefront was on fire and threatening to destroy all the main street heritage restorations. With a quick dash to Mirana's foghorn, Larry sounded the alarm and saved the day!
